Renuvion, also known as J-Plasma, uses helium plasma and radiofrequency energy to contract tissue beneath the skin. Dr. Ganz may use it after liposuction when additional skin contraction could improve the contour. It can be useful for mild to moderate laxity, but it is not a replacement for removing excess skin when a true skin excision is needed.
